News from ALLUNY (can you think of a snappier name?) welcomes a new blogger. We are happy to have LAURA SUTTELL become part of the team. Tell your friends. Something tells me that we'll be covering more than the law and libraries now that Ms. Suttell is on board.
Does anyone know about proposed legislation in Serbia? I'm looking for info on a new law that will require Energy Power Services of Serbia to purchase up to 10MW of electricity at a fixed price of 9.5 cents per kilowatt. Preferably in English. (There was a session at AALL this past July called "Why don't we get easy reference questions anymore?")
Unofficially, we've had about two feet of snow at the homestead in North Buffalo. That's not the hard part. The hard part is shoveling out the wake left behind by the plows! Thank goodness for a significant other who maintains a mean snowblower and puts my car in the garage overnight.
And now the influx starts. First offspring in from NYC today. A Marine (who was stranded in Baltimore last night) arrives later; his Marine girlfriend comes in from LA tonight. Wednesday another one from NYC, then a Floridian on Christmas Day. It will be crowded and hectic, but tons of fun.
Let's hear from you!
