The call for book reviews and papers got me wondering: what have ALLUNY members, friends, and fans been reading? Let's all share! What's the best -- or in any way your favorite -- book you've read this year?
Please do share -- we're on blogger & Facebook & Twitter & in the News so any form will do.
I'll tell you mine if you'll tell me yours.

I've enjoyed many good books this year. Stand-outs:
ReplyDeleteRumer Godden's A Time to Laugh, A Time to Weep - (non-fiction) It's about her life in Chinda, India and Pakistan during the early parts of the last century.
Mrs. Mike - (fiction) A Canadian classic. This book was a familiar face growing up but I always thought the title was too silly to be readable. It's a darling tale about a woman who marries a Mountie and moves w/ him to the wilds of western Canada.
