Still wondering whether to attend the Joint Study Institute?

Well consider this:

Whether it's food, fitness, fine arts or festivals, Montreal is outrageously FUN in the summer. Consider adding some vacation-time before or after the 2010 CALL Joint Study Institute to take advantage of the many activities the city has to offer. Jump on a Bixi in the morning and cycle over to one of the city's markets for coffee, croissants and "des produits du terroir". Take a stroll in old Montreal or the Plateau and grab lunch at one of the many city's terrasses. If you're looking for your groove, check out the Miles Davis exhibition or the Piknik Electronik. Montreal offers a variety of touring activities such as cruises along the St-Lawrence river or visits to historical sites such as the Chateau Ramezay, the Fort Chambly National Historic Site of Canada or the Maison Saint-Gabriel. As evening falls you may be facing the toughest decision of the day – which of the literally hundreds of restaurants to choose from offering cuisine as diverse as the city's multicultural population. Cap off the night in a spectacular way at the International Fireworks Festival. Whether you choose to arrive early or stay on after the conference, be sure to give yourself plenty of time to get the most out of a great city renowned for its summer spirit – for more information, check the official Montreal Tourism web site.

We hope to see you in fabulous Montreal – JSI Planning Committee.
