Building on your professional experience and organizational skills
as an information professional, this session will introduce you to concepts and
best practices
that you can immediately apply to any project. The
session will provide an overview of the methodology endorsed by the Project
Management Institute, the professional
organization that sets the standards for the globally recognized PMP (Project
Management Professional) certification.
This session will be presented by Mimi B. Rosenfeld, MBA, PMP - Mimi is a project manager who specializes
in
leading
cross-functional teams with a focus on process, documentation and training.
Mimi
holds Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project
Management Institute and an MBA from the Johnson School at Cornell University.
She currently serves as Program Manager of Outreach Communications for the
Project Management Institute, New York City Chapter (PMINYC).
